Returns
We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

The customer is responsible for the return shipping fees as well as 20% (of item cost) restocking fee.
The return shipping must be internationally traceable, otherwise we do not take any responsibilities for the item lose during return delivery and unable to provide any refund.

To start a return, you can contact using Contact form. Please note that returns will need to be sent to a Japanese address. Please consult with your post provider about the return shipping fees BEFORE return request.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and no any refund will be provided.

 

Returns by circumstances
Return by circumstances is when a package was returned to us due to recipient absence, rejecting of package receiving, rejecting of paying customs fees and similar cases.

If the package was sent by FedEx, in case of return by circumstances no any refund will be provided.

If the package was sent by Japan Post and an item returned without any damages, the partial refund is possible excluding the shipping and handling fees. To apply for a partial refund, please contact us using a Contact form.


Damages and other issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If a package was sent by FedEx, the limited insurance is provided by the courier service in case of the package loss or damage.
In case of item damage you must save all packing materials including outer box/bag. The fastest way to solve the issue is to contact your local FedEx office and apply for the investigation. Since FedEx works only with the recipient to solve the issue, it is mandatory to cooperate with the courier company directly.
Please note that the maximum refund amount is 100USD.
If investigation doesn't show the insurance case, please contact us for further instructions.

If a package was sent by Japan Post, please contact us to describe the issue.

If a damage occurs due to unpredictable circumstances during delivery (vibrations, bumps, etc.), we might provide a partial refund (the amount is decided case by case).

Please note that we do not take responsibility for the package loss either it was sent by Japan Post or FedEx. Therefore the refund is not possible.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Kamaji Market is not identified as a trader. For consumers in the European Union, please note that consumer rights do not apply to contracts between you and Kamaji Market.
Consumers in the European Union have the same rights as any other customer of our shop.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us using a Contact form.

 

Post-purchase service / guarantees
We do not provide any post-purchase service nor guarantees of functionality on any products purchased in our shop. However, in case of any questions or problems with the product, please contact us using a Contact form.
